We are delighted to announce that Bowls England has selected GoMembership for Membership and Event Management.
Bowls England is the National Governing Body for the sport of Flat Green Lawn Bowls in England and is responsible for administering the sport across the country.
It oversees and support the activities of more than 2,000 clubs in 35 county associations across the country, as well as running National Championships and Competitions, and selecting junior and senior international teams.
GoMembership will deliver streamlined Membership and Event Management for Bowls England, and its multi-tiered capability will provide visibility and control at member, club, county as well as NGB level. Club and county administrators will also benefit from administrative tools that will help them with day-to-day management of their club’s membership.
In addition, GoMembership will assist Bowls England and its clubs to comply with the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) legislation that came into force in May this year.
David Pring, GoMembership CEO, commented: “We are excited to get to work with Bowls England, and demonstrate the full range of capabilities that GoMembership can provide them with. It’s especially pleasing to welcome an additional bowls organization to our portfolio, as they join existing GoMembership customers Bowls Scotland, the Bowls Development Alliance and the British Crown Green Bowling Association.”
Tony Allcock MBE, Bowls England Chief Executive, said: “One of our top priorities is to ensure we can best meet the needs of all our members. The development of the Membership Register therefore offers a tremendous opportunity to enable us to achieve this goal, whilst providing Clubs and County Associations with an effective method of managing the information of their members.”
