We are delighted to announce that the British Crown Green Bowling Association have chosen GoMembership.
The BCGBA is the national governing body for the sport of crown green bowling, and aims to develop, support, regulate and assist bowlers at all levels of the game. The BCGBA have been searching for a membership administration solution, to improve and speed up their traditionally manual processes, and we are very happy that GoMembership won the approval of their management committees.
GoMembership will be used initially to help the crown green bowling clubs supported by the BCGBA, currently numbering over 2,500. BCGBA will use GoMembership to manage membership and Club information, initially leading to inclusion of events, courses and coaching information. Club members will be able to review and maintain their membership profile and book on to events in the future.
David Pring, GoMembership CEO says, “We’ve been in discussions with the team at the BCGBA for several months and we’re thrilled that they have given us the green light. We’re hopeful that once the BCGBA see how GoMembership can transform their member and club administration, they will look to extend the solution further with additional modules and functionality.”
“BCGBA has been looking to introduce a new web based club and membership information process for some time and GoMembership will enable us to achieve this aim. This is one of a number of initiatives we have been working on to modernize the way we administer our sport for the future. This will provide us with a greater understanding of our membership base to support the development of Crown Green Bowling” comments Mark Bircumshaw BCGBA Interim CEO.
