BADMINTONscotland go live with GoMembership

GoMembership is now live with BADMINTONscotland, the national governing body for the sport of badminton in Scotland, delivering a comprehensive member, club, coaching and event management solution.

GoMembership will:

  • allow BADMINTONscotland to communicate better with member clubs and individual members
  • allow clubs to use the system as their own
  • make data collection/affiliation process a lot easier
  • improve the member experience
  • allow BADMINTONscotland to target specific under-represented groups
  • give accurate and true data on how many people are involved in the sport in Scotland
  • allow online bookings for Coach Education courses and CPD

Lyndsay Morrison, BADMINTONscotland’s Coaching and Development Manager says, ‘This new system will transform the way we interact with our members, collect data and shape the programs that we can offer. Badminton Scotland will now be paperless which will make the process of affiliating a lot easier for members, and the system itself is very user friendly and professional.’

BADMINTONscotland have a wide remit to actively promote and encourage badminton development from grass roots through local leagues and competitions to the highest playing level, including providing services for players and coaches. They work hard to develop and grow the extensive community of badminton clubs throughout Scotland, as well as continually improving their coaching courses and qualifications to develop confident and proficient coaches. They also operate a very busy program of events and tournaments, from local level up to high-profile international championships including the TOTAL BWF World Championships which will be held in Glasgow from 21-27 August 2017.
