Badminton England select GoMembership from Azolve

We are delighted to announce that Badminton England, the National Governing Body for Badminton in England has selected GoMembership to deliver their new Membership & Event Management solution.

The online platform is part of the delivery of their new grassroots membership structure due to be launched in September 2017. It will support a growing membership base of nearly 50,000 across a network of 1,800 clubs and 41 regional County Badminton Associations.

It forms a key pillar of improvements in the services provided to clubs, organisers and volunteers within the sport as well as freeing up valuable time previously spent on administrative functions. It will also allow the governing body to integrate a number of additional services and operations across event organizing, coaching development and participation program management, ultimately delivering a better customer experience.

GoMembership was chosen following an in-depth selection process, and ultimately was chosen by the Badminton England panel for its delivery on all core requirements, its wide-ranging functionality and the provision of an improved user experience from NGB level through Club level to individual member level. GoMembership will provide streamlined management of Badminton England’s membership, club administration, credentials and qualifications, events, leagues, tournaments and competitions.

David Pring, GoMembership CEO, says “Our whole team are delighted that Badminton England have chosen GoMembership. From its official launch at the start of 2016, GoMembership has quickly grown and is now at the forefront of membership and event management software. Badminton England’s endorsement is a huge testament to the functionality, capability and flexibility of GoMembership and the team behind it, and we are very excited to begin work with Badminton England on what we fully expect to be a long-term, strategic, and successful partnership.”

Julia Strong, National Game Director of Badminton England, said: “This is a really exciting time for Badminton England as we look to future membership growth. Members are the cornerstone of our sport and the new structure being launched later this year is intended to open up badminton to new members and ensure we are providing the best services to our clubs, counties and customers.“

“The team at GoMembership have a fantastic product and have demonstrated proven success and ability to deliver against our requirements through a testing selection process. We are confident that this will be the start of a strategically successful partnership.”
