GoMembership first out of the starting blocks with Scottish Swimming

Scottish Swimming, the national governing body for swimming in Scotland has just gone live with GoMembership to deliver their Membership & Event Management as well as Club Development activities.

GoMembership, launched at the beginning of January 2016 is the very latest in Membership Management software and aims to address the myriad needs of governing bodies, clubs and members. GoMembership has been developed by the team at Azolve who have several years of sports admin solution experience working with governing bodies across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. GoMembership replaces and updates many of Scottish Swimming’s existing systems as well as integrating into British Swimming’s system.

Encompassing the disciplines of Diving, Masters Swimming, Open Water Swimming, Synchronised Swimming and Water Polo also, Scottish Swimming currently has a membership of around 22,000. A busy and exciting few years for Scottish Swimming, with participation and success in the London Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Glasgow Commonwealth Games, have contributed to growing interest, involvement and uptake of the sport.

Sebastian O’Dell, Services Manager at Scottish Swimming comments “We selected GoMembership for the extensive functionality, and it addresses the requirements of our clubs as well as us, the governing body. GoMembership will also streamline and improve the administration for our club development program which will be hugely beneficial for all concerned.”

GoMembership CEO David Pring says “We are thrilled to be working with Scottish Swimming at the inception of GoMembership, and our team have worked hard to achieve the 1st March go live date.  It’s an exciting time for everyone at Scottish Swimming and we look forward to supporting and streamlining their efforts with GoMembership.”
